Stefan Józef Kaszucki was born in Tomaszów on 10th August 1832 at 11 o'clock at night. His father was Andrzej Kaszucki, a 36 year old furrier. His father was Greek Catholic and his brothers were all baptized in that faith. His mother was Salomea née Wiciewski, age 24. His mother and sisters were baptized in the Roman Catholic faith. He was baptized and confirmed on 12 August in the Greek Catholic church. The witnesses were Onufry Stopczynski 36, a watchmaker, and Szymon Hladeszywicz, 50, a shoemaker. The Godparents were Onufry Stopczanski and Małgorzata Kukiełkowicz (my 3rd great aunt.)
