St. Nicholas the Wonderworker Orthodoc Church

This is the church that Jozef Kaszucki (my 3x great grandfather) was baptized and confirmed in. St. Nicholas the Wonderworker Orthodox Church in Tomaszów Lubelski was consecrated in 1890. It was one of the last churches built in the neoRussian style. It is cross-domed and where the arms cross there is an onion shaped dome. On the exterior there are four semi-circular shapes. After 1946, none of the original equipment survived other than the large iconostasis. http://www.dziedzictwo.cerkiew.pl/panoramy/tomaszow/?fbclid=IwAR2yaR6vrkN_JdVZSHfzwVMqlGZcPuTGvhXW_ogEwSxxF7JjDTfYq9A9Bic
